People make our mission a reality.
Bailey House relies on our dedicated staff, board members and volunteers to deliver our innovative housing programs and supportive services to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. Without them, Bailey House could not exist.
These are a few of the people who work to make our mission a reality.
Regina R. Quattrochi
Chief Executive Officer
Regina Quattrochi is the Chief Executive Officer of Bailey House, the first supportive housing agency in the country for people living with HIV/AIDS. Her work and advocacy helped establish the link between homelessness and HIV incidence as well as the need for stable housing for access to health care and improved health outcomes. In shifting the way policy makers view HIV incidence and prevention, she created a new paradigm in the public discourse around addressing these epidemics. Ms. Quattrochi is the former President and current board member of the National AIDS Housing Coalition (NAHC). She is also a founding member of the Ford Foundation funded “30 for 30 Campaign”, a group that advocates to ensure that the needs of women, including transgendered women, are included in the national HIV response. In 2014, she was appointed to Governor Cuomo’s Ending the Epidemic Task Force, which provides guidance to the Governor’s Office and the New York State Department of Health on the implementation of strategies in support of Governor Cuomo’s plan to end AIDS by 2020. Additionally, Ms. Quattrochi serves as a member on the Harlem Hospital Community Advisory Board. Ms. Quattrochi is on the board of the Ryan White Integration of Care committee, which sets funding priorities for New York City. She is also on the board of iHealth NYS, which advocates and negotiates on behalf of HIV Targeted Case Management programs and chronically ill Medicaid recipients within the Health Home system. In 2014, Ms. Quattrochi was awarded the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program Community Health Improvement Project (CHIP) Award, honoring leaders in health care who have improved the well-being of people living in their community through a specific initiative. Ms. Quattrochi received a black belt in Kenshikaikan karate under the guidance of Shuseki-Shihan William Oliver.
